The town is given a respite, enough for the people in Erich's Program to settle some political matters,  evacuate some more people and food, and finally remove as much opposition for the survivors as possible.

The next two chapters will be published next weekend.


Current writing status : Chapter 63 is finished.

I intend to finish chapter 64 before the end of the year. It will see the end of the transitory period in the story. The story is also slowly coming to an end, which will be reached at around chapter 85, ten more than previously thought.

Chapters 45 and 46 still need to be written ; this story arc will be addressed once the end of the transitional story arc is over. 

"Glasses and Pulleys" is now over 317,000 words long.
